Since 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data") applies throughout the European Union. The General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data introduces very significant changes with regard to the rights of the holders of personal data and the measures to be taken by companies for the protection of personal data.

Within the scope of its activities, BiG collects and processes personal data from its clients and other persons in order to fulfil contracts or legal obligations and to satisfy its legitimate interests, trying to ensure that such collection and processing is carried out in accordance with the General Regulations on the Protection of Personal Data.

Compliance with personal data protection legislation and respect for customers' rights is a priority for BiG. To this end, and in accordance with the General Regulations for the Protection of Personal Data, BiG has adopted a diverse set of technical and organizational measures that aim to ensure that the relationship established with Customers ensures a high level of protection in the area of personal data.
