Borja de Castro, analista de mercados de Banco BiG, destaca en su última entrevista para Estrategias de Inversión, que el sector bancario es uno de los principales impulsores del Ibex hacia los 12.000 puntos, con un rendimiento superior en España respecto al resto de Europa.
En Asia, las políticas fiscales en Japón y los estímulos en China han impactado el sector industrial y siderúrgico español.
De Castro también menciona que, en un escenario de recuperación suave, las pymes podrían mejorar su desempeño. En EE.UU., ante una posible ralentización, sería clave enfocarse en sectores defensivos, como el de la salud, dejando en segundo plano a las pequeñas y medianas empresas.
En cuanto a inversiones, resalta las utilities, así como Chevron, Occidental Petroleum y el gas natural, que podrían generar buenos márgenes hacia fin de año si por el exceso de inventarios la OPEP decidiese un recorte en la producción. Entre los principales catalizadores señala las elecciones en EE.UU., China, el sector automotriz europeo y el posible crecimiento de la inflación por un aumento del precio de las materias primas.
Además, destaca el sector small-midcap retail, señalando CAVA Group, una empresa de comida mediterránea con potencial, similar a Chipotle.
